To clarify this is not a cottage. It's a condo in a block of condos called Laurel Inn. My husband chose this location because he saw the word 'cottage' and the first photo on booking.com which shows a picture of a cute building in a shopping plaza in Gatlinburg but has nothing to do with the accommodation. Nevertheless, it met our needs as a couple and had easy access (15 min walk) to the town - quicker than trying to drive in the busy season. The owners were very responsive to any questions and the local brown bear was a real highlight for us!
I think the title and the first photo associated with this property are misleading. I gave some feedback about the bathroom which needs some upgrades and the kitchen area is not really conducive to cooking but fine for reheating leftovers in the microwave.
