The roof terrace is absolute star of the show—huge and far more impressive than pictured, complete with a large BBQ, small fridge, full plastic tableware set, pool towels, and even its own full shower/WC and washing machine. ​The house accommodated our group of 6 with heaps of extra room, but it could easily host 10 as described. The beds and mattresses are exceptionally comfortable, and with 5 full bathrooms overall (including three powerful ensuites and a double-sink bathroom for the twin rooms), there’s never a queue for the shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with the bonus of a handy filtered water tap, backed up by a large fridge-freezer in the utility room, and has a lovely little morning balcony. Fast Wi-Fi, TVs in multiple rooms, and a safe are great touches. ​Location-wise, it’s in a quiet residential spot only 100m from Aldi and an 8-minute walk down to the promenade. The neighbour’s dog has a loud bark when you pass his window (the sign says he’s a softie!), but he wasn't a disturbance at any other time. Helena was brilliant and always quick to answer texts.

On the pool stairs as there isn’t a handrail—adding a subtle one here would be a great safety improvement without detracting from the stylish design! Would happily stay again.
