Here, neoclassical architecture and bougainvillaea-clad alleyways set a charming scene for exploring boutiques, cafés and tavernas. The nearby beaches of Niborio and Gialia offer crystal-clear waters and calm shorelines, with Niborio accessible on foot in under ten minutes.


Andros itself is known for its diverse landscape, think rugged mountain paths, freshwater springs and green valleys, a rare contrast in the Cyclades. The region is steeped in maritime history, which you can explore at the Archaeological Museum and Maritime Museum in town. Local bakeries and grocers are close by for everyday essentials, while a wider selection of dining and cultural attractions is easily reached within Chora’s old town.
