Freitas Panoramic is a self-contained accommodation on the upper floor of a house, in a rural setting near the village of Ponta do Sol, for two to four guests — thanks to its elevated position, it has a balcony with wide sea views, perfect for sunrise and sunset, and a terrace with a jacuzzi and barbecue.

The accommodation is approximately 75 m² and comprises a bedroom with a queen-size double bed (160 × 200 cm), a bedroom with two single beds (90 × 200 cm), a living room and kitchen with a dining table, and a bathroom.

Outside, it has a balcony and a terrace with a barbecue, dining table, jacuzzi, sun deck and a parking area for guests.

The elevated position of the top floor offers panoramic views over the sea and the surrounding farmland, where you can watch the first and last rays of sunlight of the day on the rock of the island's most beautiful pier — the phenomenon that gave rise to the name Ponta do Sol (""Point of the Sun""), given by the Portuguese discoverers.

It is equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, induction hob, oven, microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi (200 Mbps), TV with international and children's channels, among other amenities to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay.



📍 NEIGHBOURHOOD

The accommodation is located in a rural area 115 m above sea level and 500 m from the village of Ponta do Sol, where there is a beach and some restaurants and cafés.

Ponta do Sol lies in the southwest of the island, which has the best climate in Madeira.

A few kilometres away there are impressive cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.

Nearby you can enjoy various outdoor activities, such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other water sports.

The property has access to the main roads.

A car is recommended for this location, but there is a bus stop about 20 m away.

There is free parking on the property.

The balcony, terrace and jacuzzi are for the exclusive use of guests.

The parking and the property's entrance are shared, but the accommodation is independent.

There is a road nearby, so there may be traffic noise, which is reduced by closing the windows.

Weekly maintenance cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels.

The accommodation does not have air conditioning.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects and small lizards is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.

For anyone who is not comfortable with the presence of insects and lizards, we do not recommend staying in a rural area.

For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

An online pre-check-in form will be sent to collect the identification details required by law.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.
