We found this place on Booking.com, and the price was within our budget, so we decided to give it a try. I want to give an honest review: this place was excellent! The apartment is very spacious, comfortable, and has many thoughtful details that made our stay much easier. The apartment provides a wall plug insect repellent, a jug of water already in the fridge, and the kitchen has a water filter, meaning it is safe to drink water directly from the tap. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwashing detergent, a sponge, a cleaning cloth, two chairs with a square table, two placemats, plates, cups, glasses, a coffee machine, and a dish rack. The bathroom was also very well prepared. It included towels, toilet paper, shampoo, and liquid body soap. The shower is an electric hot shower, which worked well. There was also a small portable plastic rack available for drying towels. Please note that there was no hairdryer provided. The apartment also came with useful household items such as a broom and dustpan. The smart TV in the room has Netflix, and if you have your own streaming accounts, you can cast them to the TV. The Wi-Fi password was provided before check-in via WhatsApp. I also recommend Ana’s Restaurant, which is open 24 hours and is only about a 10-minute walk from the apartment — a very useful place to know about! The check-in process was fairly simple. The host, Eduardo, sent us a WhatsApp message with instructions on how to use the digital lock (a touchscreen lock). There were also two physical keys inside the table. Eduardo requested our IDs a few hours before check-in, and we sent photos of our passports/IDs via WhatsApp, so just be aware of this requirement before arriving. The location is one of the best things about this apartment. It is very central and close to the train station, metro, and bus stops. We were very happy with the location.

The only small downside was the check-out coordination on the WEEKEND. The building has concierge service from Monday to Friday, but the service is limited on weekends, so we had to coordinate with another person to help us enter the building. This was not a major problem, but it is something future guests should be aware of. In addition to this, the Wi Fi modem was in the corner of the bedroom, inside, something I don't personally like being exposed to this, as in my home its outside of the bedroom.
