Steeped in the island's history, this authentic home has been thoughtfully updated while preserving the character that has defined it for generations. Original walls and parts of the flooring remain, adding a genuine sense of heritage to the warm, inviting interior. Exposed ceiling beams, a wood-burning stove and generous social spaces create an atmosphere that encourages long family meals, relaxed evenings by the fire and time spent together in surroundings that feel both timeless and comfortable.

Located on the island of Fur, one of the area's earliest homes places you close to the water and within easy reach of the island's remarkable coastal scenery. Explore fossil-rich beaches, dramatic cliffs and peaceful walking trails that reveal Fur's unique geology and abundant birdlife. Stop by local galleries, cafés and farm shops to experience the island's creative spirit and regional flavours, or spend a day kayaking, sailing or simply enjoying the ever-changing views across the Limfjord before returning to your historic island retreat.
