the house was great for a family reunion with 6 adults: clean, comfortable, well designed, a well-equipped kitchen, close to the beach, etc. the host was very responsive with a few issues at the beginning. the only downside was some hardware problems with the WiFi that could not be resolved during our stay. Overall very good, though, and we would go back

The property is exactly as advertised. The place is great, the views are fantastic, and the beach is a short 5-minute walk! I hope to visit again sometime in the future.

Overall we had a pleasant stay at Rita's place! She is very friendly and helpful with lots of tips for places nearby.
The view from the upstairs living room is stunning! You have a great view over the ocean and the rooftops of Luz.
Everything you need on a vacation is available in the house (kitchen utensils, hair dryer, soap etc.).
The biggest downside for us was the lack of cleanliness. Upon arriving there was an unpleasant smell in every room, which would return even after opening all windows.
One bathroom we even decided not to use due to an stench of urine. The room was clearly not properly cleaned as you could see stains beside the toilet.
Another big issue was mold on the walls and ceiling of the shower which was probably caused by the malfunctioning ventilation.
Even though the house was equipped with many useful things, some of them were damaged or even in an unusable condition.
In a nutshell, we had a nice stay and if you can look past some inconveniences you will too!
The beach is very close to the apartment, you can easily reach it within a 5-minutes-walk. We had some really beautiful breakfasts looking at the rising sun and watching the waves come in.
