The location was excellent! In the heart of Fitzrovia, walking distance to the tube, the British Museum, and even the Thames, and easy access to Soho and Chinatown. Lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. Clean and had everything you need.

The bed in the main room needs to be checked. It seems to sag a bit on the side nearest the wardrobe.

High standard, good security, great location for theatre district..

Noisy at times, would benefit from extra glazing. Needed some teatowels/kitchen roll, handsoap in kitchen. Smaller shower heads need some attention - leaked some water.

Having to contact someone an hour, and then half an hour in advance of needing to check in is really impractical. I had booked this accommodation for two colleagues (and stated this when I booked it) who were in London for various meetings, and had to therefore plan their itinerary around needing to meet someone just to get in the accommodation. If keys needed to be handed over, I'd perhaps understand, but it was just a code that was needed to get in which could have been provided in advance like the majority of other accommodations do. The customer service I received before the stay was really poor. There were mixed messages in terms of what was stated on booking.com and from the confirmation email, to what the agency of the accommodation stated. My messages were ignored for days - the only time they got back to me quickly was to tell me the original payment had declined which I promptly rectified, but then I sent multiple messages to the company that owns the apartment, and those messages were largely ignored for days. When I did eventually hear from them, the tone was extremely passive and not helpful. There was no apology for the lack of communication. When my colleague met with the person to let them into the accommodation, she was told her ID wasn't sufficient and she had to call me to get me to send a picture of my driving license. When I made the booking I made it clear that is wasn't for myself, and I paid for it with a business card that was in businesses name, not mine. My ID has never been asked for for the countless other bookings I have made for my colleagues when they've travelled for business.
