Host went above and beyond. Exceptional property stunning throughout.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Whitby Window and will definitely be returning. From the moment we walked in, the whole place smelled incredibly fresh and clean and looked like it had recently been renovated. The house is extremely well equipped. Having EV car charging facilities was a huge bonus for us. The bathrooms were lovely, with baths and/or showers, toiletries provided, and amazingly thick, soft, fresh towels. The beds were also incredibly comfortable, with super-soft mattresses and high-quality bedding. The kids especially loved the attic bedroom! They really have thought of everything. There’s a washing machine and dishwasher, with washing powder and dishwasher tablets already provided, plus a coffee machine with pods, tea and sugar. There were lots of little extras for the children too. They had great fun drawing, singing and playing with the disco light. The living room was one of our favourite parts — lovely blankets for getting cosy, a big-screen TV and the deepest, softest sofas. We literally sank into them and nearly fell asleep watching TV! Wi-Fi was included, which we weren't expecting, and there’s even a little cocktail bar area if you fancy making your own drinks. The outside seating and garden area are brilliant too. They even provide a disposable BBQ and utensils. We didn't get chance to use it this time, but hopefully we will on our next visit. Whitby town is only around a five-minute drive away, with plenty to see, explore and some lovely shops. Overall, fantastic value for money, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and with more than enough space for a full family. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making guests feel at home. We would happily stay again and definitely recommend it.

Honestly, we couldn't really fault anything during our stay. Everything we needed was provided, the property was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the little extras made it even better. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer!

Really lovely house tastefully furnished and with everything we could possibly need and more. Very clean and well looked after and owner very helpful. Nice walk into Whitby and nice view over roof tops to Abbey and harbour. Outside space and furniture fab. Parking and EV charger a real bonus too.

Loft bedroom probably better as 2 singles with hindsight - we did keep catching our heads on the ceiling but it is cute and atmospheric.

The location was very good.

It needed a deep clean!! Dog hairs everywhere obviously a large dog has been in the premises and lots of hair everywhere!! Check between the fridge, behind curtains in lounge downstairs bathroom and utility room. I have taken pictures even in the bath upstairs we didn’t use it. We don’t have a dog so obviously notice dog hair everywhere on socks etc!!
