Really enjoyed my stay here. The place is in a quiet and more local part of Nungwi, but still only about a 5–7 minute walk to the beach. It’s a relatively new and well-kept place, with a nice little courtyard where breakfast is served and where you can sit and relax. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need, including a fridge and good Wi-Fi, which worked well for working remotely. The AC is also good, so the room stays cool and comfortable when there is electricity. They also have a generator, which is a big plus in Zanzibar where power cuts can happen. If you need it, they are happy to turn it on. The hosts are probably the best part of the stay. When I arrived, they showed me several rooms and let me choose the one I preferred. I initially picked one and then noticed a small issue, and they changed it for me without any problem at all. Everyone was very kind and attentive, but the owner’s mother in particular was amazing. She takes care of the guests almost like they are part of her family. If you need breakfast earlier or later, or need help with anything, they are always happy to arrange it. Breakfast was also very good — fresh fruit, plenty of food, and definitely enough to start the day well. One evening they even invited me to join their family dinner, which was a really nice and memorable experience. Overall, a very warm and welcoming place. I would happily stay here again.

Everything was great. One thing to be aware of: the Booking.com map location is not completely accurate. I would recommend contacting the hosts before arriving so they can explain exactly where to go.
