We felt like home. Highways, shops and restaurants are near, yet the street itself stays quiet. Netflix and the extra channels filled the evenings we did not go out.

We were visiting someone, so proximity mattered. Check-in took minutes and the host answered quickly, or pointed us to whoever could help. I left thinking the stay had been simple on purpose.

We only needed a few nights but ended up extending. Being able to walk up to the rooftop pool in the late afternoon is what I keep remembering; next time I will aim for warmer months just for that.

Quiet, warm rooms that feel like a house rather than a unit. I was comfortable from the first evening and already thinking about the next dates in Nairobi.
