The best room in this house doesn't have walls. Out past the sliders, a screened lanai runs the width of the home under a warm wood-plank ceiling — deep lounge seating at one end, a long dining table at the other, lanterns strung overhead, and the pool holding the middle. Brick pavers wrap the whole thing, so there's shade when you want it and full Florida sun when you don't. That lanai is where most of a stay here happens. The outdoor kitchen has a built-in gas grill and a full tool set, which means dinner rarely needs to move indoors. The fire table takes over once the light goes, and the screen enclosure means you can sit out until midnight without swatting at anything.
