Water access is typically available from April through October, with the lake reaching its full summer pool from May through August, creating the perfect setting for swimming, kayaking, and paddling right outside your door. As lake levels lower in the fall and winter months, the scenery transforms into a peaceful mountain retreat, with stunning fall foliage lighting up the surrounding ridges and cozy evenings spent enjoying hot cocoa by the fire. Guests can launch the provided kayaks, including two adult kayaks and one child kayak for guests under 100 pounds, float the afternoon away on lake toys such as floating mats, number floats, and adult-size tubes, or relax by the shoreline while enjoying peaceful lake views from the hammocks or woven chair swing. During the off season, the lower lake levels reveal the unique landscape of the exposed lake bed, creating a fun area to explore along the shoreline. The property features approximately 787 feet of shoreline access, with stairs leading down toward the lake and the fire pit area, making it easy to enjoy outdoor fun and cozy evenings under the stars. Guests also have convenient access to a TVA boat launch with parking located about a two minute walk away at the end of Atchley Road. The home is easily accessible by motorcycle, vehicle, or small RV, with paved roads leading all the way in and a paved, level driveway that makes arrival simple and stress free. Parking is easy and comfortably accommodates up to four vehicles. While you will feel tucked away in your own lakeside retreat, you are just five minutes from the nearest grocery store and Dollar General for quick essentials, fifteen minutes from the attractions and dining of Pigeon Forge, twenty minutes from Gatlinburg, and only twenty five minutes from the breathtaking beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is the ideal location for guests who want a quiet escape while still being close to everything the area has to offer.



Local Fun:
Located on Douglas Lake you can rent boats or jet skis to spend the day on the lake. After the lake, head into Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, which have many fun and entertaining attractions for all ages. Start with adventure when you ride coasters at Dollywood, win a game of putt-putt golf, race go-karts, splash at waterparks, mine for gems, visit museums, and oh-so-much more! For outdoor fun, you can explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can hike to waterfalls, horseback ride through valleys, picnic by a river, and fly fish! Once the thrills and adventure are over, visit the Tanger Outlets and local boutiques, where you can shop until you drop. Enjoy local cuisine, from southern family-style restaurants to chef-cooked meals at dinner time. After dinner, you can find a sweet shop on every corner to satisfy that sweet tooth before returning to the property.

Lake Special Note:
Water levels vary throughout the year. During winter, the water is drained, and beginning in April, it starts to fill. By the end of May, it is completely filled.
