Hotel රාවණා - Rawana

I arrived sat early afternoon, my girlfriend was due a few hours early , I was welcomed with a refreshing drink , given the choice of a room at the front or back , I chose the back thinking it would be quiet, which it certainly was , I like bird watching, and the birds out the back was fantastic, I saw 10 different species, a pair of resident kingfishers , they have made it there permanent home due to the stream that runs nearby , the bird and wildlife was ruined by one thing, I left my binoculars at home , the bed was very comfortable, nice crisp clean sheets etc , good aircon , it wasn’t exceptionally hot weather so I tended to have it on for an hour off for an hour , I put excellent for the staff and that was an understatement they went above and beyond there duty , food was excellent reasonably priced , lovely area , close to the very busy galle rd 3 km away which is the main road serving the west coast , I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again , proper value for money, railway station 3,5km away , thankyou
