We are renting out our vacation paradise in Plaka, Apokoronas, Crete. The house is 175 square meters and features a large living area with a kitchen and 4 bedrooms. Two full bathrooms and a separate toilet. The house is fully insulated and can be used year-round. The property has a beautiful outdoor area with a swimming pool, an outdoor shower, 8 sun loungers, and a hammock, as well as an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven and three seating areas. The house is wheelchair-accessible, and there is a driveway leading all the way to the house. There is a private parking space on the property. There are two electric bikes available for guests to use.

The property is located about a 40-minute drive from Chania Airport and is perfect for an extended family or two families. The house has all the amenities for a comfortable vacation, including a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room, and bed linens, towels, and laundry service included. The house has a large flat-screen/smart TV, and guests can watch TV via Apple TV or Chromecast.

The house is located 500 meters from the charming square in Plaka. Here you’ll find cozy taverns, bars, and two grocery stores. Plaka is known for its beautiful hiking areas. The white mountains, forests, trails, and the nearby sea offer many opportunities for wonderful experiences. Spring is beautiful with its blooming flowers, and in the fall, the air and the sea are still warm. Crete’s two highest peaks, Pachnes and Psiloritis, can be reached on a day trip. Limnopoulis Water Park is a 40-minute drive from the house.

It’s about a 20-minute walk down to the charming village of Almyrida, which has lovely beaches—ideal for children since the water is shallow for a long way out and there are rarely any waves. Almyrida is wheelchair-accessible and has its own ramp leading into the sea. In Almyrida, there are several hotels, an ice cream shop, bars, and many cozy taverns. The walk back from Almyrida to the house is uphill. If anyone finds the walk too strenuous, there is a taxi stand in Almyrida.

The price includes cleaning, electricity, water, and the Greek tourist tax.
We hold a rental license: AMA 00003533872. The house meets all new rental requirements, as regulated by law effective October 1, 2025. Among other things, liability insurance has been taken out, fire extinguishers and smoke detectors have been installed, a pest control certificate has been issued, and an inspection of the house’s electrical system has been conducted.

The minimum rental period is 6 days.

Rooms and Beds
The house has a large living room combined with a kitchen. The living room has a TV and a Bluetooth speaker.
The kitchen is fully equipped and also includes a toaster, a food processor, a capsule coffee machine, and a dishwasher. The house has a separate bedroom wing with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is adjacent to the master bedroom. There is also an additional toilet.

The house has 4 bedrooms:
The master bedroom is spacious with an en suite bathroom featuring a washing machine and direct access to the pool. The double bed is 180 cm wide. Bedroom No. 2 is a standard size and also has direct access to the pool. The double bed here is 160 cm wide. Bedroom No. 3 is large, with two single beds (90 cm wide) and space for extra beds, which are available in the house. Perfect for children who want to share a room. Bedroom No. 4 is slightly smaller and furnished with a sofa bed, which is 144 cm wide when unfolded. This bedroom has its own toilet.

The house has two cribs and a high chair for children.
