Take a drive across the Queen Isabella Causeway and visit the 97,000 acres of the Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge where you can hike, fish, and photograph incredible wildlife including waterfowl, deer, butterflies, and even rare ocelots, just 22 miles away. Or head out on an eco-tour or a dolphin watch departing from Sea Ranch Marina, just two miles south. Book a fishing charter and head out onto lower Laguna Madre from the marina.
