À propos de cette location de vacances
The cottage sleeps five in two double and one single bedrooms, including a double in the crog loft room for able adults or teens only. Outside dining and seating area with wonderful views, ample on site parking.
There are paths through the national trust owned woods at the front of the house which dogs and their owners both enjoy immensely. The walks are quiet and you're very unlikely to meet anyone else on them, the woods are very natural and undisturbed.
The house is only about 400m from the sea in the form of the Menai Straits, and under a mile away is the village of Y Felinheli with cafes, village pubs (The Garddfon for food and a sunset view, Yr Heulyn on the nearby marina for events, live music and a nautical feel, Tafarn Y Ffic for locals), restaurants and a post office.
Y Felinheli also features a marina with boat launch facilities and moorings, and there is a cafe at the side of the marina called The Swellies which is very popular for a relaxed breakfast or coffee after a stroll down from the house.
Further afield Bangor 4 miles away has several large chain shops like Tesco Extra, Asda, Morrisons, M&S, Lidl and Aldi plus the University and cathedral. Caernarfon has a UNESCO world heritage site castle and walled town with many quirky shops and cafes. Llanberis and the foot of Snowdon is just 7 miles away, and Zip World is also 7 miles away with it's record breaking zip line.
We can guide you on any local activities you may be interested in, there are too many to list here so we have created a guidebook which is on our website and also a hardcopy in the property itself.
