This small coastal town is known for its well-preserved historic streets, traditional timber-framed houses and maritime atmosphere. Nearby sandy beaches are ideal for swimming, walks and peaceful days by the water, whilst the surrounding area offers several historic sites to discover. Coastal paths and viewpoints around Karmøy also offer excellent opportunities for walking and for getting to know even more of Western Norway’s rugged coastline.
