This charming home-from-home provides an excellent retreat for families and groups of friends looking to discover the stunning Lake District, with the added benefit of a prime location in the heart of the ever-popular Bowness-on-Windermere. From the doorstep, visitors can enjoy a fantastic selection of local attractions, outdoor adventures, shops, cafés, and restaurants. A cruise on Lake Windermere is one of the best ways to take in the breathtaking scenery surrounding England's largest lake, with easy access by boat to destinations including Ambleside (5.5 miles), the Lakes Aquarium (9 miles), and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway (9 miles), and countless picturesque walking routes. Fans of Beatrix Potter can take the ferry from Bowness to Near Sawrey, where Hill Top, the beloved author's former home, is just a short stroll away. Even closer, The World of Beatrix Potter attraction (100 metres) is located just moments from the property. For those eager to make the most of the lakeside setting, several nearby water sports centres offer activities ranging from paddleboarding and kayaking to the thrill of wakeboarding and wake surfing.
After climbing up the stairs to the front door, you are welcomed into a spacious hallway with a utility room, perfect for hanging up your jackets and kicking of your boots after a day of exploring. To the right you can find the cosy and inviting lounge whilst further on is the open plan kitchen and dining room. Well equipped with everything you need to whip up a feast, including an air fryer and coffee machine. The laundry room is just tucked away with a washing machine and tumble dryer. On the same floor you can find the first of the bedrooms a delightful double with accompanying spacious family bathroom with bath and separate walk-in shower. Upstairs there are a further three bedrooms, two doubles and a twin, each offering their own various outlooks towards to town, fells and lake. Another bathroom completed the property with a shower over the bath.
Outside the multi-levelled terraced garden offers a great space to get together over a cold one whilst taking in the views and the bustling atmosphere of Bowness. On fine days the patio provides lovely views southwards across the village and Lake Windermere to Bowness Bay, Belle Isle and beyond and northwards up the lake to the Langdale Pikes and Loughrigg. Parking can be found to the rear of the property on a neighbouring road for one car.
