À propos de cette location de vacances
Arranged over four floors and offering approximately 1,449 sq ft of space, the house combines traditional London character with comfortable contemporary living. With three double bedrooms, an additional single bedroom/study, two bathrooms, two terraces and generous living spaces, it is an excellent choice for families, groups of friends, business travellers and longer London stays.
The open-plan kitchen and dining area provides a welcoming place to start and end the day, with direct access to a private rear terrace for morning coffee or relaxed evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped for guests who prefer to cook at home, with everyday cookware, crockery, glassware and utensils, together with tea, coffee, a coffee machine and a selection of basic cooking essentials and spices.
Upstairs, the impressive double reception room is one of the highlights of the house. Filled with natural light, it features high ceilings, exposed painted beams, wide wooden floors and a feature fireplace, creating a beautiful space for relaxing together after exploring London.
The sleeping accommodation is spread across the house, giving families and groups useful separation and privacy. The bedrooms are individually styled with fresh bed linen, towels and storage for your stay. The additional single bedroom/study offers a daybed, desk and extensive shelving, making it particularly useful for a child, solo guest or anyone needing a dedicated workspace.
There are two bathrooms, including a spacious master bathroom with a statement freestanding bath and large walk-in shower. The second shower room features a rainfall shower, with the toilet separately enclosed behind its own door for additional privacy and convenience when several guests are getting ready.
The location is exceptional. Holland Park, Notting Hill Gate and Kensington High Street are all close by, putting some of West London’s best restaurants, cafés, boutiques and neighbourhood streets within easy reach.
Spend the morning exploring colourful Notting Hill and Portobello Road, enjoy lunch around Kensington, or escape the city in nearby Holland Park. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are also within easy reach, while excellent transport connections make it simple to explore the rest of London.
Despite being so well connected, the house offers something increasingly difficult to find in central London: the space and privacy of an entire period home rather than an apartment.
