The 13th Street public beach access is one block away, Lagoon Pass Park is 0.4 miles, and The Hangout and Gulf Shores Public Beach are about 2.4 miles away. - Covered balconies on both levels, furnished with outdoor seating. The upper balcony looks over the homes across the street to the Gulf.

- Pirate's Hideaway is one side of a duplex. Each side has its own entrance, parking and grill area.
- Parking is limited to 2 vehicles.
- The primary renter must be 25 or older. Maximum 8 guests. No parties or events.
- No smoking inside the home. Smoking is allowed outside.
- Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM.
- Check-in is 4 PM and check-out is 10 AM.
- A $500 refundable security deposit is held 2 days before arrival and released 7 days after departure.
