The Space:

The first thing you’ll undoubtedly notice when pulling up to this historic Gaslight building is a plain view of the Capital's defining landmark, the Washington Monument, from this 16th St NW location. You can have an unforgettable vacation starting with this space, with amenities and extras at a very competitive price.



This private vacation apartment is uniquely housed in the remodeled 6th floor of the historic Gaslight Club building. Enjoy your DC vacation or business stay without the cramped feel of a hotel room in this space which combines charm and history with modern conveniences that make your stay extra special.



Step off the elevator directly into the corridor where you'll access your private apartment. Sit back and watch the big game or your favorite movie on the wall-mounted SmartTV, or surf the web on your iPad or laptop with the free high-speed wireless internet service.



Feeling hungry? If you feel like staying in instead of heading out to one of the nearby restaurants, you’ll find everything you need in the updated kitchen. The kitchen features all the appliances you'll need, all your kitchen utensils, and a dishwasher to make clean up a breeze. You can cook your favorite meals or enjoy a quick breakfast using the cookware, place settings, utensils, and other kitchen supplies available for your use.



The unit features two bedrooms each outfitted with a queen bed enhanced with memory foam mattress, providing a comfortable sleeping area for up to four guests. Microfiber sheets and comforters are on all beds for a cozy, warm night of rest. The apartment also has two private bathrooms with a shower/tub combo for your convenience. The bathrooms are fully stocked with the essentials you'll need to feel right at home.

The Neighborhood:

Set in Penn Quarter, the apartment is only a couple blocks from popular DC sites such as the Washington Monument and the White House. Walk a bit farther and enjoy the sights and sounds of Downtown, Gallery-Place Chinatown, and the National Mall.



Getting Around:

The McPherson square metro station is a short 5-minute away, with nearby metro bus stops as well. Never short of a taxi passing by. car2go also available, download the app for cars nearby!

To help ensure a safe and respectful stay for our guests and neighbors, reservations may be subject to additional verification prior to check-in. Guests may be asked to provide a valid government-issued ID and additional information related to their stay.



Parties, events, and unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited. All reservations must comply with the property's occupancy limits and house rules.



Local Guest Policy

To help protect the property and maintain a safe environment for our guests and neighbors, we do not accept reservations from local guests residing within the surrounding area. Local reservations may be subject to cancellation. If you are a local resident and believe your stay may qualify for an exception, please contact us prior to booking.



• Please be courteous to the neighbors living around you at ALL times by keeping noise volumes to a reasonable level. From 10 PM - 8 AM please adhere to very strict quiet hours when noise is to be kept at a minimum.



• Please do NOT flush anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products, baby wipes, contraceptives, nor paper towels should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that any of these items have been flushed and clog the plumbing system you could be held responsible for the cost of repair.



• ABSOLUTELY NO Smoking or vaping of any kind inside of the suite.



• ABSOLUTELY NO gatherings causing excessive noise. No guests allowed on the premises that have not been added to the reservation guest count.

**Late checkout may be allowed as long as a minimum 1 hour notice is given and permission is granted. As each turnover is scheduled around our cleaning team and the next guest’s arrival, an unapproved late departure can create significant disruption. If there is a late checkout without prior notification or permission, fees will apply.
