Trem Y Mor is a dog friendly home situated in the idyllic town of New Quay, Ceredigion. It is so close to the beach that you can see the dolphins.
It is a 2-minute walk to the sandy beaches, water sports and sailing centre, where you can hire paddle boards and kayaks and enjoy sailing lessons. With the beach so close, Trem Y Mor is an ideal choice for a relaxing family holiday or dog friendly break by the sea in West Wales.
New Quay is famous for its resident bottlenose dolphins, which often swim in very close to the shore. You can watch the dolphins from the beach or harbour or take a boat trip along the beautiful Ceredigion coast to see them and the seals. Take a look at BBC iPlayer – Dolphin Town, which truly showcases why New Quay is such a gem to visit and why it is one of the best places in Wales for dolphin watching.
All you need is within easy reach, including lovely restaurants, ice cream parlours, fish and chip shops, cafés, beachwear and clothes shops and pubs overlooking the sea. There is also a fish shop selling the daily catch brought in from the harbour.
There are plenty of beautiful walks along the Ceredigion Coastal Path, with amazing cliff-top views and spectacular coastal scenery. New Quay is also well placed to visit nearby Aberaeron, Llangrannog and Tresaith, all of which have lovely beaches, coastal walks and welcoming places to eat and drink.
