Lake Daze Waterfront Retreat

Welcome to our peaceful retreat located in a quiet cove on Pea Hill Creek in Henrico, NC.
With waterfront views and a serene, relaxing atmosphere, you will enjoy all of what this 4-bedroom house has to offer. Situated on a large lot that gently slopes down to the water, our property provides the perfect setting for relaxation, floating, kayaking, and paddle boarding. There is ample room on the covered dock to sit in the shade, or you can choose to sit and soak up some sun. Graduated water depth up to about 7 feet at the end of the dock is perfect for tying off your watercraft. The closest boat ramp is Pea Hill Boat Ramp. It's a short 8 minute drive and free to launch your boat.

Our home offers 4 comfortable bedrooms, a loft and three full baths. Sheets and quilts with extra blankets are provided along with bath towels (please bring your own beach towels) and a starter roll of toilet paper in each bathroom.

The main level features an open floor plan connecting the family room, kitchen, and dinning room. This level also offers two bedrooms with queen beds and one full tub/shower bath. We offer a mini crib, highchair and booster seat for your little ones. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need including a crock pot and Kruieg machine along with a 12-cup regular coffee maker. From the kitchen and family room, you can walk out onto the upper deck where you will find a dining table for 6, additional outdoor seating, and a gas grill for cooking while taking in the peaceful views of the lake.
We do provide a roll of paper towels, two kitchen towels, two trash bags for the kitchen trash can, a trial size dish soap, two dishwasher pods and one dish sponge. Please bring whatever you may need beyond the courtesy items provided.

The upper level offers the main bedroom with a king bed and full bath with double sinks, a walk-in shower, and jetted tub. From the main bedroom you can relax on the secluded deck. The upper level also offers a loft with a full size bed.

On the lower level you will find a family room and game room where you can walk out to the patio with views of the lake and sit in the Adirondack chairs or at the 6 person dining table. On this level you will also find the bunk room with two double over double bunks, a full bath with walk in shower and the laundry room. The house stays cozy with heating and cool with AC, ensuring a pleasant stay year-round. Whether you’re relaxing indoors or exploring nearby, this serene home provides peace and quiet for you and your guests.

The house is conveniently located close to Washburn's Marina and shopping.
Food Lion is about 12 minutes away but if you need something quick, Dollar General is a short 6 minute drive away with Pino's Pizza practically across the street.
If you would like a sweet treat and coffee, stop by Jenny Cakes at the Lake which is about 9 minutes away, on the way to Food Lion. In the Food Lion shopping center, you will also find Lake Gaston Pizza, Gus's Grill & Bar, Lake Life Clothing Company, and a Pharmacy. Subway and WatersView Restaurant are just a couple of minutes past Food Lion. If you would like to venture out, Littleton is about a 25 minute drive where you will find Timber Waters Brewery, Casa Mia's Italian Restaurant and Blue Jay Bistro, an American style restaurant, and a boutique/gift shop, Once Upon a County Line.

Please note, like most houses on Lake Gaston, we use a septic system. Please help us keep it working flawlessly and ONLY flush toilet paper.
We do take your privacy very seriously, however there is a ring camera located at the front door.
