À propos de cette location de vacances
Inside, there are four bedrooms and common areas with a long table, a wood-burning stove, an open fireplace, and comfortable chairs for 6–7 people. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and heated floors. The library features books on music, art, architecture, and crafts, and there are musical instruments such as a piano, guitars, and drums, as well as a record player with classical music.
The outdoor area features a long table that seats about 20, an outdoor kitchen, and an open fireplace. You can use the bathtub and outdoor shower with hot water as long as there’s no frost. Perched on the edge of a slope is an architect-designed outhouse with a view down into the Havsjødalsbekken stream. The house is surrounded by a large natural plot with plenty of space.
Marked hiking and coastal trails lead toward Drøbak and Fagerstrand right outside the door, and in the autumn you can go mushroom hunting in the woods. The house sits in a bird sanctuary where ravens, grey herons and buzzards are frequently spotted. Drøbak's a 10-minute drive away, and from there you can take a boat out to Oscarsborg Fortress. The Follo Museum's a 10-minute drive away.
