Make yourself at home at Crabmore Cottage, a remodeled 1930s cottage in Morehead City with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fenced yard and plenty of personality. With Atlantic Beach, downtown Morehead City and Beaufort all just a short drive away, it’s an easy home base for a family beach week, fishing trip, getaway with friends or longer stay on the Crystal Coast.

Inside, you’ll find four cozy bedrooms: two king bedrooms and two twin bedrooms with pull-out trundles, providing sleeping space for up to 10 guests in beds. All four bedrooms have their own TVs, so everyone has a place to unwind at the end of the day. Fast Wi-Fi and an in-home washer and dryer make the Cottage comfortable for extended stays and guests working in the area.

Crabmore Cottage is an older home with a compact footprint, so the bedrooms are on the smaller side—but the layout packs four separate sleeping rooms into a comfortable, welcoming space. In the family room, an oversized modular sectional serves as additional sleeping space and gives everyone plenty of room to relax together.

The kitchen is stocked for real meals at home, and the coffee and tea station make mornings easy. You’ll also find cocktail supplies and fun extras including a popcorn and ice cream maker.

There are several spots to enjoy the coastal air without ever leaving the property. Relax on the furnished screened front porch, let your dog enjoy the fenced front yard, or head to the backyard courtyard for outdoor dining. A propane firepit make the outdoor space especially nice for laid-back dinners and evenings together. The screened front porch looks across the street toward a walkable, peaceful historic cemetery near Calico Creek—a little piece of Morehead City history.

Guests traveling with a boat are welcome. The home has parking for approximately 2–3 vehicles on the rear parking pad, reached from a small unpaved municipal access road. Additional permitted parking, including space suitable for a boat, is available along the cemetery frontage across the street and in front of the house. We’ll provide clear arrival and parking instructions before check-in so finding the correct parking area is easy.

From Crabmore Cottage, Atlantic Beach is about a 10-minute drive. The restaurants, shops and waterfronts of Morehead City and Beaufort are close by. Spend the day on the beach, get out on the water, explore the waterfront, or simply come home and enjoy a quiet evening on the porch.
