Great location. Good communication with the owner and very comfy ,clean and cosy accommodation. Comfortable bed and nice hot shower. We didn't have an issue with the stairs up to the top floor. We had a very enjoyable stay.. We would book again if in the area.

Parking was a little inconvenient but we used the carpark a 10 minute walk away which was very reasonably priced. The only negative was a lack of sink in the kitchen area but again it's not a major issue and manageable with the bathroom next door.

Very close to the centre of town and facilities. The property was very clean and contained all that I required . The weather was particularly warm during my stay so the owner had provided an additional air con unit . The room was well ventilated and bright . Extremely comfortable stay.

The only one suggestion that I could make would be to provide a lock for the door to the suite. My travel plans were disrupted and I tried to phone the owner on the number provided by Booking.com. When I arrived and spoke to the owner she told me that the number used had been disconnected and Booking .com had been advised and provided with a new no. That could have caused me a major issue.

L'appartement de Jo est très bien situé, à 5 minutes de la rue principale de Lewes, à un peu plus de 10 minutes de la gare à pied. L'endroit est très calme, situé dans une petite rue peu passante. Il est très propre, lumineux et aéré, confortable et joliment décoré "à l'anglaise". Jo était présente à notre arrivée. Elle nous a accueillies chaleureusement, elle s'est montrée souriante, très communicante et disponible tout au long de notre séjour. C'était parfait !

Location - close to High Street. Although the accommodation was not particularly close to the places I wanted to go, Lewes is a compact town, so one can walk it. Unfortunately, no matter which direction you go in Lewes, you will be heading up hill; I think the town was designed by MC Escher! Facilities - kitchen area with fridge, microwave, kettle and table. Books and DVDs. I couldn't fault the cleanliness. The décor was boho. There were several chairs, surfaces and lighting options in the room. Quiet.

The bed was extremely hard and I really struggled to sleep. In the end I slept on top of the duvet; two duvets would have solved the dilemma. I would have enjoyed the stay far more (perhaps 8/10) if I had been able to sleep. I accessed the key using a code. This was acceptable, but it seemed a little "off" that the proprietor didn't meet me. I had told her my ETA several times. The online information promised conditioner, but there was none, so I couldn't wash my hair (there were loads of other potions, though). I would have brought my own if conditioner had not been specifically stated as being provided. I could have bought some in Lewes, but it would have been more stuff to carry home. The only sink was very small and I couldn't get my water bottle under the tap, so had to fill it using a cup. This would likely also be the case for those trying to fill the kettle. The TV needed retuning, as the reception was not very good.
