We LOVED: Carrie at the front desk and Cayden in the restaurant! Carrie gave us great recommendations and was always engaging when we went by. Frankly, everyone at the desk was nice. Without Cayden our experiences in the restaurant would have been ... meh... He even stayed past his out time one night to take care of us. I had the same thing both visits and the item was different the second time (Potato Nachos), food was ok not great. Restaurant definitely was understaffed. Brian in the rooftop bar was great too.
Can't beat the location! So central to downtown activities. Easy to walk almost everywhere.
As would expect with a historic hotel, the facilities have definitely seen better days. Elevator broken. the trip to get to the rooftop bar is bizarre. Felt like i needed to stop and do side work walking through the kitchen on the way. And, it is just too loud in the rooftop bar.

roof top bar was fun for a night cap. location was excellent to visit the shore line, rent a e-bike, the art galleries, restaurants and shops...plenty to do in the immediate area. Didn't need a car to get around everything was within walking distance. It was a lovely few days!
maybe just a few more coffee pods in the rooms, but when we asked, they delivered!

My room carpet was stained and the desk chair was old and needs replacement.
