Emerald Lake Lodge

Loved our stay at Emerald Lake Lodge. Room was rustic, clean, great quality personal amenities, unexpected view from our room & balcony. Easy walk to spa & club room plus the main lodge. Breakfast great value. Enjoyed walking the whole lake trail, great pathway.

Prices in main dining room little steep but you can see menu beforehand. No internet in rooms but was available in common areas.

We stayed in a lake front room. Really enjoyed our view. Best part was being there in the morning before everyone else showed up and having the place basically to ourselves. Breakfast buffet was also very good. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our first visit to the Canadian Rockies. We only stayed one night at Emerald Lake Lodge. We had a beautiful, rustic, quiet & secluded cabin. Fireplace in our room. Views of Emerald Lake all around us. The water is turquoise. Beautiful! We hiked Emerald Lake Loop upon arrival. Picturesque and easy trail. **Note that the 2nd half of the loop is currently under construction. Still walkable, but there are muddy sections. We had dinner the Burgess Room & it was delicious. The buffet breakfast was great too! A lot to choose from. Overall, we had a very peaceful, relaxing & enjoyable stay here. Enchanting place!

Beautiful location, service good

facilities rather tired, no cold beer, overrun with day trippers. We stayed 30 years ago and I don't think anything has been updated much since then. Lift from car park should be less than 5 minutes but took 20 minutes due to tourist congestion - why not swap the bridge around so that people can take photos and not stand in the traffic lane? Tried to get a cold beer and was told the fridge was playing up - it's not rocket science to keep some in an ice bucket! Barman complained of being really busy but the service is limited to hotel guests only - surely they know the numbers!!
