Sandy was a great host, the place was clean, comfortable & tidy with great attention to detail and a perfect location in Pictou.

Everything was wonderful. I felt like we were in Scotland in the 1950’s. I only wish I had thought to get a photo of Sandy serving us breakfast in his kilt. This stay was a highlight of our trip

Cathy and Sandy have done a great job converting an old building to an inn. They are both very approachable, knowledgeable and very willing to help the travelers. There is a guest balcony and small garden, although we had rain during our stay so did not take advantage of it.
We had a disappointing stay, partly because of the weather and partly because we found Pictou itself to be quite lackluster (although we loved the ship Hector revitalization visit). Sandy and Cathy were very helpful and the room was ok, but of the six hotels/inns we stayed in during our 10 day visit, this was the most expensive.
