Prince of Wales Hotel

The location and the view was incredible.

One of the blinds in our room was broken which sucked since you couldn’t see out of that window. Bed was soft but ok. The cleaning staff was terrible. Only had our room cleaned once and they didn’t give us toilet paper or vacuum the crumbs on the floor. Bell boys were hit and miss, some friendly and some not great.

Location is fabulous. I didn’t really care for the breakfast menu, they should offer other items such as yogurt, muffins, rather than potatoes with garlic, toast with avocado and sprouts

I didn't care for the breakfast menu, limited with 4 items. They should offer other items like yogurt, muffins rather than eggs with potatoes cooked in garlic, or toast/eggs with avocado and sprouts. There are no room amenities other than an ice bucket and glasses. Would be nice to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room and also add a tv. I know the intent is to experience the 100 year old hotel, but you need to make some updates. The carpets in the room don’t look exactly clean. When you pay over $300/night, there should be some added perks in the room.

The staff was great. Location fantastic

The burgers were well done. Buns dry. Didn’t offer a choice on how you wanted it cook

The location is exquisite and the property itself historically very interesting.

Our room (423) was on the small side and was extremely cold due to the force of the wind coming in through the window frames. When we asked for an extra heater, we were only provided with an extra blanket. Apart from a very small minority (Rory in particular) the remainder of the staff were insincere. We were also of the opinion that food and beverage prices were on the high side.
