Room was a nice size and we were 3 adults

The rooms were super clean. The paint looked very fresh and one of the two rooms looked like the bathroom had been recently renovated., The bedding was excellant, the staff were friendly and very helpful and cooperative. The location was perfect for our needs . We did the whole Cabot Trail so it was a great place to start and finish.
It is an old Motel and some more investment in things like weather stripping for sound insolation, one of the rooms could use a sink replacement. I asked the local couple who ran it who owned it and was told the owner lived in Ontario. I understand that although they are doing an excellent job , it must be hard to do all that needs to be done when the owner is not present.

Convenient location beside a lovely stream. Friendly welcome. Bedroom & bathroom were clean but kitchen was tired & greasy.
Kitchen lacked utensils & pans were old & battered.

I knew it was a budget motel so I wasn't expecting alot, it was clean
bathroom door was hard to close, there was a wee leak in the toilet, we did notify the staff
