It’s in a beautiful camping site overlooking the beach!

There was a dead rat inside the cabin behind the sofa. We should have notified the campground attendant.

I wish it had a bit more space for the kitchen. But considering it is a cabin. So all good and beautiful

We stayed in the North Cabin at Porteau Cove between April 15th and 17th, 2026. It was a beautiful stay, listening to the ocean and the barking of the sea lions. It was amazing to visit the Skwelwil'em Squamish Estuary Wildlife Management Area. It's one of the most beautiful places we've ever been to in British Columbia. The cabin was clean and tidy. The grill worked perfectly, and the outdoor gas heater made contemplating the fjord much more enjoyable. 100% recommended for couples or families who want to spend some time in nature, but with all the comforts of a cabin.

My wife and I are no longer young, and the fact that the master bedroom is on the mezzanine and the staircase is so steep made it impossible for us to use it. We had to sleep in the first-floor bunk, which is a bit uncomfortable because of the short distance to the top bunk.

I like the view and location but compared to the price I paid it is not good enough
