A beautiful setting, with comfortable beds and bedding/towels provided in a hostel setting. Nice to be able to meet and be among other travellers. Kitchen facility includes dishes, a fridge, stove, coffee & coffee-making supplies, and lots of seating.

The staff (Kathy and Angela, I hope I spelled their names right) were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hostel was exceptionally clean and well organized (guests even removed their shoes) and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. The beds were comfortable, the linens were fresh. I have never stayed in such a clean and pleasant hostel. It is a perfect base for exploring the Kananaskis area.

I love how remote it is. A great place to switch off and connect with nature. Staff are soo lovely . Super clean. They have everything there. Nice bathrooms. Kitchen is kitted out.
Before you arrive make sure you bring food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) as there are no local shops. There is the village but its about a 40 minute walk which only has a little tuck shop and restaurants.
Also beware of the scam that is going on. If you receive a WhatsApp "from" HI wilderness DO NOT OPEN. It isn't them! I hope the staff report this scam as its serious.
