This charming hotel feels like stepping back to the 50s but is also decorated with a modern stylish flair. We appreciated the outstanding customer service (our bags were delivered before we got there and they situated them in our room). The front desk staff were very friendly and provided directions and recommendations. An Italian restaurant was on site for breakfast and dinner and was superb. Extra bonuses we appreciated were the massive windows in our suite, a small kitchen for cooking in, the fitness center and bikes to reserve and use around DC (we highly recommend doing this!)
N/A…loved everything!

The staff is friendly and knows the area well. When you walk in the great you warmly and offer to help with luggage. They are happy to recommend local places to eat or shop for groceries. It feels like a home away from home.

The location, the staff, the service and an Italian restaurant in the lobby of the hotel.
There was NOTHING to not like. I loved, The River Inn and will definitely stay there again when I'm back in D.C.
