Drake Devonshire and Motor Inn

Très bel hôtel avec beaucoup de petites pensées qu’on ne trouve pas ailleurs. Beau site, bien aménagé. Le restaurant et surtout la terrasse avec vue sur le lac sont très agréables.

Douche trop grosse par rapport à la chambre à coucher… L’espace pourrait être plus fonctionnel.

Fantastic small hotel, we stayed in the Owners Suite , stunning room , very comfortable bed too.

The only thing that would have made it better for me is a magnifying mirror in the bathroom, not having one made it difficult to apply make up , apart from that it was superb.

The location was perfect, right next to the lake, view was spectacular. And the decoration was extremely tasteful, unique, has a character. We had the most delicious french toast at the breakfast with a beautiful view. Rooms were decorated nicely with vintage elements. We really had a great weekend and i recommend this hotel very much.

There are two parts of the hotel and each has its own rooms. The ones in the main building and the others at the cross of the street. When we booked we thought we chose the one in the main building, this part was not clearly explained at the booking site, but no problem, all the rooms are great, the ones across were even bigger. There is only room with the lake view, i wish there were others because the view is so calm and peaceful.

Central Location.

Service at restaurant was pretty awful. Staff seemed untrained. Food was average compared to what is offered in the area where we had amazing dinners and lunches throughout the weekend. The Drake restaurant turned out to be quite disappointing. Best view but worst food unfortuantely. We stayed in room 12 in building 45 and we were a bit underwhelmed considering the 1125$ per night price tag. Bed were comfortable but the glass wall dividing bathroom shower and rest of the room was quite uncomfortable for us and the kids. Probably better suited for swingers but definitely not our thing. Smart glass with electric switch or simple curtains should definitely be installed to give guest privacy option. Also, the window in the shower which had no curtain, made the sunlight enter the room quite early in the morning and prevented us for a longer sleep. We woke us up way earlier than wanted. Curtain should be installed.
