Hotel de l'Horizon

Stayed here for a friend's wedding up the road; had an amazing stay! Rooms were great, beds were comfy, and they had everything you could want/need amenities-wise. Couple of minutes down the road into town, great views. And to top it off, I accidentally left a family heirloom ring behind in the room when I was leaving in a hungover rush. The cleaning team was able to find them and shipped them back to me in America. So a big shout-out to Marine, Melodie, Bastien and the cleaning team for facilitating this for me, it made my year! Can't wait to re-visit Sutton one day, will absolutely be staying here again 😊

Forte odeur d’humidité dans la chambre Salle de bain peu propre ( cheveux dans le bain et extérieur - serviette tachée ) Qu’il n’aille pas de petit frigo , peu pratique . Manque de débarbouillette pour notre séjour ( 2 pour 3 nuitées ) Peut être mentionné que le déjeuner offert est un déjeuner continental.

Les chambres sont agréables en bois chaleureux

Lors de notre séjour nous n'avons pas eu accès au restaurant vu un mariage. Nous espérions pouvoir se reposer sans chercher un endroit où manger ( les restaurants autres sont plus loin et bondés ) . Si un évènement a lieu le jour de la réservation il serait bon d'en aviser les clients avant leur séjour pour qu'il planifie différemment .

Excellent location close to Mt. Sutton ski hill and close to a quaint town. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The availability of a simple European breakfast is great especially for fueling outdoor fun. The Finnish sauna, hot tub and pool are nice. The restaurant has great food especially the burgers. Excellent wine offerings.

The facility is family friendly but it’s very unfortunate that the sauna, pool and hot tub don’t have adult hours. They close at eight o’clock in the evening so until they close they remain rowdy. It would be great if adults only could access and enjoy these aforementioned facilities between eight and ten o’clock. Sitting in a hot tub with small and rowdy children and parents or who fail to maintain a respectful environment is unpleasant. The sauna door was often opened and closed by these unruly children is quite irksome. Even our ten year old child was annoyed.
