The staff greeted us, and there was a warm ambiance with fireplaces in the lobby. There was sherry and cookies, along with breakfast. The bed was comfortable, and it is in a lovely neighborhood with a parking lot. Quaint hotel in a good location.
The only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 is because there was only a table/nightstand next to the bed on one side. With two people in the bed, we need a nightstand on both sides of the bed.

Staying at the Queen Anne is like stepping back time. Beautiful, sumptuous furnishings, little nooks that you can hide away in with a good book and a complimentary sherry to finish off a busy day. A generous continental breakfast is included which was delicious. We had an Executive Suite which was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was a good size. The location was good, very close to Japantown, a bit of a walk into the centre but plenty of public transport available if you don’t like walking. Staff are friendly and helpful.
The hotel needs a bit of tlc. The carpet in our room needed replacing or, at least, shampooing and the elevator carpet was thread bare in a couple of places. Neither of these things would prevent us from staying again.

The bed was comfortable and the authentic decor gave the hotel a historic vibe. I enjoyed the comfort of the large lobby area. The free breakfast was great.
The outdated room facilities. For example - the fridge didn’t work at all. The staff were a bit hit or miss. Some were really friendly but others were quite rude when we needed to ask them a question. The addition of AI cushions etc really cheapened the appearance of some parts of the hotel. We also saw mice in the lobby over several nights.
