Sydney Boutique Inn & Suites

We were a reunion of 10 ladies from western Canada. This hotel was excellent… from ease of checking in to the complimentary breakfasts. The wonderful rooms accommodated us better than we could expect. The hotel is within walking distance of historic downtown. Making it the perfect place for us!! Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Excellent property!!!

Nothing. It is wonderful

The location is great - you can walk to all the local bars, restaurants and shops. Our room was gorgeous, we had a two bedroom suite. We had a bathroom for each bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen. We also had a seating area with television.

The breakfast room is very small and we were very lucky to get a seat even though we were down fairly early. The food was ok but I found the eggs a little overcooked.

The room was large, beautiful and very comfortable. We also liked that it had a washing machine and tumble drier.

There was no bedside table or lamp on one side. And we felt misled, because our booking showed an even more beautiful room with a portico to sit in, and a dishwasher. It didn't have either and it turns out that the room in the picture, which was the reason I chose the hotel, was a completely different room. We weren't offered a change of room or an upgrade to the room in the Booking.com booking, or to one with a dishwasher! I don't know whether this was the fault of the hotel or Booking.com, although I'm sure Booking.com doesn't check the details sent to them by the hotel. So, if the hotel chooses this route to market, I would think that it is their responsibility to check that the information is accurate.

The room was large, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It was located in a great location near restaurants. The architect and designer did an exceptional job converting the old school.

A minor quibble is that the breakfast room is not large enough to accommodate the number of hotel guests without a wait.
