I will always stay at the Doubletree in Bakersfield because it’s so convenient to where I have to go to meet my friends.
I will be back again
I like the cleanliness of the bathrooms and I like the coffee in the morning

Jonathan at the front desk was great. I arrived early and he found me a room with no problem. Very friendly, professional and a pleasure to talk with. The rooms are a bit dated - but clean. There have been some upgrades to the lounge and lobby which are nice.
There is no air conditioning in the hallways, so be ready for a severe temperature change when you leave your room! :)

Location
Had to walk 5 minutes to the front because my key wouldn’t open my door. Then they gave me a new key, I walk 5 minutes back… doesn’t work. Walk 5 minutes back to the front…. New key… 5 min back.. doesn’t work….
Walk back to the front… new key.. walk back and the worker shows up to change the battery to the door. I’m not a “Karen” but definitely was frustrating.
