Best Western Plus Executive Residency Nashville

The room was nice and very comfortable. The location makes getting an Uber to any destination pretty cheap.

The staff didn't seem very friendly anytime I had to interact with them. The location is in a rundown part of Nashville, there are a lot of homeless people and drug addicts around the area. It's right next to the highway... you get a veiw of cars rushing past constantly. Nothing the hotel can do about the area, it's just sad. The pool looked like it hasn't been open in years.

The room was clean and lowering the air made it super cold and comfortable.

The sofa beds were horrible! They looked like they had been there for years and years. The mattress was dirty and had rust stains on the side. My son ended up sleeping on the floor instead because he was grossed out by the look and feel of the flat, fold-out mattress. Also, there was a smell in the hall, or right when you got off of the elevator. I couldn’t figure what it was. It wasn’t bad, just a weird smell.

Good value and clean rooms!

The gentleman that checked us in seemed irritated, not too welcoming. I tried to make conversation but he didn’t reciprocate. There were random people lingering outside the facilities, asking for money or help. One man came in and tried to barter with the man in the front, to get a room for a week, claiming he’d work it off for free.

The room was a lovely size. It was very clean and the beds were lovely and comfortable. Bathroom was modern and clean and the shower was really powerful. Great lighting and plenty of towels. Despite being situated between two very busy roads, there was no noise in the bedrooms and no noise overheard from adjoining rooms. The foyer is really large, plenty of seating options. Lots of parking too at the side and rear of the hotel. We took UBER each day and it was approx. $13 to Downtown/Broadway and similar to Opry Mills Shopping Centre. Coffee machine in the Foyer for guest use all day - coffee is very nice from this machine. Our room was a twin room and had two large Queen sized beds, a fridge and coffee maker.

The area is not good. Despite being situated right beside a McDonalds, we were advised NOT to walk there and only to use drive thru or delivery options. There are many homeless and drug addicts in the area. We only left the hotel in an UBER/LYFT. The breakfast finishes too early 7am-9am and despite being listed until 10am on weekends, this was not the case. It finishes at 9am every day. This hotel uses all disposable plates, cups and utensils. There was a decent choice for breakfast including scrambled eggs, waffle maker, sausage patties, cereals, yogurt, apples, bananas, bread to toast, mini cake muffins (choc chip), assortment of juices and a coffee maker - the coffee was actually rather nice! The area is described as a high crime area and there are many undesirables around outside. That being said, the hotel itself is safe and clean and very good value for money.
