Nuvo Suites Hotel - Miami Doral

It's location

Staff look miserable and most of them don't speak English. I asked for dairy free or plant based milk for breakfast, they told me they did not have it. Then I found it in the fridge. They did not understand what was saying but just responded negatively. Breakfast self service using disposable plates and cutlery. The could not even provide a free bottle of water in the room upon arrival.

The location was close to 2 major shopping malls. Miami international mall was across the street and Dolphin mall was a 15 minute walk down the street. The washer and dryer was a nice touch. I loved that it came with a kitchenette Even though there was a language barrier because most of the staff were Spanish speaking they were quite friendly. The property served it's purpose as we were gone most of the day and the trip was mostly for shopping.

1. We hated the limited breakfast! For persons who eat clean OR have health restrictions it won't be ideal, it was heavily flour based. Salad options were basic Lettuce and the breakfast pics I saw on their social media were misleading. I had lettuce and the hardest and driest grilled chicken the first day and the last day just before leaving for airport I had Lettuce and scrambled eggs. WHAT was up with these sanitary plates, bowls and cutlery 🤔. So we choose a hotel which included breakfast and I had breakfast 2 out of my 7 day stay, I made my own breakfast in the room most days from supplies I purchased at Walmart. 2. The water in the toilet pressure was non existent, we had to call the front desk to send plumber for almost all of our 7 day stay......they did offer to move us to another room the second night but it was after 10 and we were already in bed. 3. The AC was either extremely cold or extremely hot, the temperature couldn't be adjusted. 4. The bathroom sliding door to the living area cannot close/lock so if you're traveling with a group or value your privacy it would be an issue. 5. We didn't particularly like the layout, two suites share a little corridor to a main door connected to the main corridor.
