Location was excellent and price was very reasonable. Rooms were clean. Liked having a comfortable chair in the room and we had a nice view of downtown St. Paul.
Hotel needs some updating. Hallway carpet was old, faded and rippling. Elevator shakes and makes loud noises like it’s going to break down anytime. Comforter on our king size bed had old stains on it. Shower / tub in bathroom was slippery but thankfully there was a bar on the wall. Needs more USB outlets for charging electronics.

The woman on the reception was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room had all advertised amenities, and spotlessly clean. The air-conditioning worked well. The location is good, in downtown Saint Paul, within an easy walking distance of shops and restaurants.
My room overlooked a large vacuous space, which was kind of creepy. There was a very loud humming noise in my room all night, which made for a poor night’s sleep.

Water pressure at sink inadequate; bulb burned out in bathroom fixture; bathroom fixtures rusting; tub slippery; breakfast scrambled eggs were awful; parking expensive.
