Motel 6-Piscataway, NJ

It’s pretty close to grocery stores, restaurants, and fast food places. I like that they have an on-site laundry facility. You don’t even need to have quarters for the machines because you can do it from an app on your phone. You have to buy your own soap at a local grocery store because they do not have any in the vending machines. Of course, we know that the soap they sell in vending machines is overpriced. The deluxe rooms have a microwave and a refrigerator, which is a plus. You do pay a little bit more for those, but it’s well worth it if you don’t want to eat out all the time. They do have the usual coffee in the morning. I use my own Keurig machine in the room. I admit it, I’m a coffee snob.

When I first checked into my room, I noticed the floor in the room was very sticky and the floor in the bathroom probably had not been mopped in a few days as there were urine stains on the floor around the toilet. Not horrible, but something that needs to be taken care of when they do room service. Of course, we know the towels they use here are not the best. They are very thin and always rough on your skin. These are the kind of towels that are used until they fall apart in the washing machines. The pillows are not very comfortable either. Some are real thin and some are thicker, but they’re kind of hard.

The bed was uncomfortable (sunken in on one sidel) and the eating area seat was broke. It wasn't worth the money, I don't think I would return.
