The Dixie Hollywood

Proche du métro

Really like that the property has security at night and is closed off of one side. Makes it feel really safe!

I didn’t like that parking was a little over $25 aside from what you are already paying for the hotel room. But overall really good place and sense of security.

- We really liked the location very near the subway (which we took to universal) and near grocery store etc. - The staff was friendly and welcoming and good process for checkin - The place was very clean and all amenities were there, in a big room

- The light in the corridor could not be well blocked by the wooden binds which made the room bright at night - felt like morning and we did not sleep well despite the confortable bed & sheets - Room was not pre-cooled with the AC so we arrived to a hot room, and the AC is loud - Not given the wifi code on arrival which was unusual as code is not in the room, we called and got it

The staff was very nice

I am surprised by how this hotel has received good reviews. I had a disappointing experience during my stay for a fitness event. I was hoping for a good rest, but the noise from street traffic and ambulances was constant throughout the night. Additionally, the sheets were dirty, and I found some hair under the sheets. The air conditioning was very loud, and it was quite hot that night. Given the price of over $300 for one night, I was expecting a quality hotel. If you are planning on resting, I would recommend considering other options.
