Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites St. Louis West-O'Fallon by IHG

On the outside, this is just an average looking mid-priced Holiday Inn. But you walk into a nicely decorated, new looking, lobby and large breakfast seating area. To my surprise, I had the best complimentary breakfast of maybe the last 100 hotels I've been in. They were well stocked with all of the normal breakfast items, including hot freshly cooked bacon, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and some especially awesome hot cinnamon rolls! The rooms are very spacious, have lots of outlets, are nicely designed and decorated, and with great bed linens. Lighting was outstanding, compared to many hotels with dim and inconvenient lights.

The front desk staff were excellent, however uniforms would have nicely complemented the otherwise higher-end looking lobby and breakfast area.

Ease of checking in. Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of variety for breakfast. TV (55" at least)was large compared to other hotels I've stayed in.

Not a terrible issue but the shower could be updated

They were replacing carpet so it smelled like glue!

Beds were really hard, coffee maker in my room was DISGUSTING, and im pretty sure one of the beds in my room wasnt changed before my check in. It looked slept in when I arrived. I paid 129 PLUS a nonrefundable pet fee of 50 dollars for 1 night and my dog was cleaner than the stuff in my room. 328.
