Garden State Inn

As always, my room at the Garden State Inn was clean and comfortable. I've stayed here probably 5-6 times, and only once in the past was I not pleased with the room (someone had been smoking in it before, and it wasn't in as good condition as their rooms usually are). That said, this is probably my favorite hotel in the area due to a combination of affordability and cleanliness. And, as always, the room was quiet, even though I usually get a room overlooking the heavily traveled White Horse Pike. So, even in a roadside room, things are quiet. The bed was very comfortable. I recommend this place!

TV wasn't working this time; it looks like a previous guest had left it on "game mode" and somehow disconnected the signal (and I couldn't figure out how to fix it), but usually it's just fine. I'm sure if I asked, the concierge would have figured out how to get it working.

Big open parking lot. Close to things we wanted to do.

There wasn’t much of a breakfast.

Good amount of parking, ice machine actually works! Shower was huge and clean and lots of space.

Not a fan of carpet floors but they were clean and no weird odors.

Reasonably priced

The room smelled like smoke even though we were in a non-smoking room. The TV remote was sticky; barely any towels and no hook to hang them to dry to even re-use and no toiletries provided
