The staff was very friendly and super apologetic about the condition of the hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable.

They had a flood back in July, everything on the bottom floor was ruined and they are still in the process of cleaning in order to fix it up. The pool and gym were not available, which was fine with us, there was no breakfast, there were no rooms on the first floor, and the elevators did not work. We had to carry our suitcases and our bags up two flights of steps. No one ever called us to let us know the condition of the hotel ahead of time. They did apologize that no one called us, but it definitely would have been good to know the condition of the hotel ahead of our arrival. If someone is handicapped and can't do steps, or if you were hoping for a free breakfast they promised, you would be disappointed.

I love the location the room was nice bed comfortable. Staff was great and friendly.

What I didn't like they had a flood there I wasn't informed about it until 40 minutes before arriving,. I had driven a long way to stay in Buchanan. The whole bottom floor was under construction which is okey but I didn't like being charged full price for my room. No pool no breakfast under construction. Trust me I'm glad they're repairing everything. I've stayed here before and was a great stay but being charged full price for my room when I had no other choice at the last minute isn't good.. like I said I'm glad they're on the road to recovery and the staff were awesome. But should be given some type of discount for my stay.
