Residence Inn by Marriott Louisville East

Breakfast, location, front desk staff.

Property is worn, needs paint badly, replacement of rotting wood trim. Property needs a renovation badly, looks like it hasn’t been properly maintained on the outside of the building.

The location was perfect for my visit. For a facility of its age, I was very impressed with the up-to-date facilities.

Honestly, I can't think of anything that was unpleasant.

The location. The staff was friendly

They wouldn't except cash, so we had to use our emergency credit card. They make you pay per day to park your car there. Both phones in the room didn't work when I needed to call the front desk. One of the two light bulbs in the bathroom was blown out, making it very dark. My kids wouldn't use that bathroom. The main door going in and out kept sticking, making it very hard to get in or out. It took us 2-3 minutes to get outside one time. I was starting to panic, thinking we were stuck inside. I let the front desk know all of these issues the first night and they were supposed to fix everything the next day and never did.
