No front desk, I liked the ‘boarding house’ feel. Suite was as expected, very spacious and clean. Location right on Colfax was very convenient. Neighborhood is beautiful, lots of big historic homes.
Lots of windows in the room covered in ivy, nice but didn’t allow for much daylight. Ivy looked like it was coming through a window and crawling up the wall/ceiling. Hallway smelled of cigarettes.

We arrived early and the property manager let us check in early without any extra charge which was so nice. The decor and theme are really cool. The beautiful chandeliers and antique pieces were such a vibe. We were there for a concert and the shuttle pick up was walking distance so that was great. Plenty of restaurants and a fun bar right down the street. Surprisingly quiet in the room despite the hustle and bustle going on outside.
I have zero complaints. Only recommendation is to bring your own toiletries, which we forgot. While there are some provided they are very tiny tubes so between me and my husband we ran out after one shower. There is a 711 across the street so easy solve.

It’s very cute and a hauntingly cool building
It was very dirty, toothpaste on the bathroom mirror, sticky and dirty nightstands and kitchen counter, huge tuft of other people’s hair stuck to my sock. We didn’t shower because we did not feel comfortable to do it without shower shoes.
